not even halfway near Google payout

Ho-hum...seems like this is the longest wait for us. Visitors clicking ads are as rare as my grampa's teeth. Like in my most visited site, I get sometimes over a hundred visitors a day but nobody clicks the ads or rare are the times when a cent or two is added to one's Google earnings. One's site needs to be really popular to have something like passive income from adsense.

thanks for the pat

A visitor recently left a message which inspired me to make this post. Thanks for that much-needed pat on the back. Really, of the four blogs I maintain, this is the one which is getting the least number of visitors. LOL. Anyway, my most visited blog to date is no longer my www. offbeatmom.blogspot.com but my www.coolkidsparty.blogspot.com I already get more than a hundred visits there a day. To me, this is something.

really surprising

For the past couple of days I'd been wondering why I got zero clicks from Google adsense. This is really surprising since I would usually get some cents in a day and never got zero earnings in a row. I had visitors on these days so it is really disheartening to know that Google earnings these days have really become very little or nothing.

Poker?

I got an invitation to join this site that hosts poker. I must be the dumbest person not to know how this game is played, but to be honest, I really don't know of any gambling games so that makes me weird to some who are into this kind of "recreation" or preoccupation. I am so sorry that I should be the last person you should ask about gambling.MInd you, I am not saying this with a poker face.

check coming from clixsense

Hey! Guess what? When I logged in to my http://www.clixsense.com/?2144411 account I was surprised to see that my earnings there had been mailed and they're coming my way! It is not much but I am not also doing much here, right? All I need to do is click the ads sent to me and I get paid. Finally, I am going to receive my first check from http://www.clixsense.com/?21444411 If you are interested, please get the link I have just given and be a member.

oil price in the world market drops

It is good to hear that the price of oil per barrel has continued to drop significantly over the past several months. This, after the prices of commodities have shot up and it seems like there is no going back or going down for all the price increases of basic goods. While it is true that the price of gas has gone down, it still has not gone down to the level of its original price before the crazy increases. Why? This is really hurting the consumers because businessmen who jacked the prices indiscriminately as a result of the oil price increases, are no longer willing to go down despite the dramatic drop of oil price in the world market.

the dollalr is getting stronger everyday

We notice that recently the dollar has consistently climbed against the peso. To dollar-earners, this is good news but to those earning the lowly peso, it means that the buying power of the peso is dropping. It is time to do some real dollar-earning tasks here. I hope google will also up its adsense payouts.

google earning is so darn slowwww.....

I don't know when we are going to get the next google payout since earnings are so so so slow. Visitors, hits, traffic. I know that these are the main ingredients to the success of the game. But how, how, how in the world do we get people to visit and bring in the hits? Of course, a good and worthwhile site matters a lot here, so.

global food crisis

There is global food crisis. It means that only those with money can afford to buy the sky-high priced food. Those with very little or even nothing will have to struggle finding food to put on the table.

In our country though the crisis is primarily focused on rice shortage. Why? For one, there's overpopulation. More mouths to feed against poor rice production. What a shame. If you look around you in the Philippines especially in rural areas you will find vast tracts of idle lands. Yes, acres and acres of idle lands are lying there unplanted, unproductive, not doing anything. It's a shame that we should be having rice crisis. What is the government doing to make sure that these unproductive lands are made useful for the benefit of the Filipino people. CARP is not the answer because we are talking about IDLE lands, lands lying around with only useless bushes and grasses. We're not talking about lands already tilled by farmers but big lands that are untouched and thus wasted while we complain of not having enough rice and importing rice from other countries. What a shame! We are so poor, lazy and stupid!

the rice crisis

The rice crisis in the Philippines has caused panic especially among the "have nots". So everybody's talking about it now. Media have nothing in them but the rice crisis and nothing more! So what happened to the ZTE deal now? All forgotten? Everybody's attention is on the rice crisis. Is this real or just another tactic to divert people's attention away from the hot graft and corruption issue involving billions of dollars. Why can't we see the connection between this rice crisis and the ZTE and other deals? We as a people always have the tendency to look at fragments. We usually fail to look at the bigger picture and the possible connections between this problem and that problem.

I was at the wet market this morning and witnessed for the first time the seriousness of the "problem". A long, long line of people were lined up to buy rice from government-subsidized rice outlets. At the moment the beings in power seem to probably feel so powerful for being able to "save" majority of the population from hunger by providing the only cheap rice available. Again, my question remains: Is the President involved in the many corrupt "deals"?

Come on, let us not be confused. There is rice and food for those who labor. But let us finish what we have started---to search for truth until we get it.

I don't think so...

When the dollar's value against the peso depreciates, our president would always say this is a good sign for our economy. I don't think so. HOw can we feel that when we are only in the Philippines and not using dollars to buy goods? Maybe when we go out and have our money changed into dollars so we can buy stuff there, then we can say our money is indeed getting stronger. But to ordinary pinoys like the rest of us, the devaluation of the dollar against the peso does not really improve anything. It only makes life harder for many Filipinos who only depend on family members sending them dollars every month. I am not an economist or a financial expert but it does not need much common sense to put two and two together.

Money vs. happiness

Would you rather have much money but depressed for no reason? Or one with barely enough to get by everyday but always has a smile for everybody?

I bet I know your answer. For there comes a time in a person's life when he'd wish to give up all his material possessions in favor of one thing---be it health or family.

We are living in a very complicated world that we oftentimes mistake the tree for the forest. We think that we are looking at the big picture when we have actually narrowed our vision to what we can only get by means of material possession.

Happiness is something that money can't buy. You can have the fattest bank account in the whole world but if you have your health to worry about everyday, then it'd make you wish you didn't have a single penny if only to have the best of health. Money has its own strange way of finding an outlet. Think about that.

alleluiah!

At last, finally, reached it! You probably know what I mean.....hmmmmm...after many months of waiting....we have finally reached the minimum payout.

The sad thing is, we'll have to labor many more months for the next payout. Yikes! Waiting can be the most unwelcome thing in the world. How does one accelerate one's Google earnings?

almost there

Hooooo...waiting for it to reach payout is like eternity, but we're almost there----after many months! Hooooh...it's just a matter of a few cents now before payout so we hope to make it this month.

Really. Google earnings aren't easy to come by. There is a lot of waiting and patience involved. Hmmmm....how do we move this thing fast? Suggestions please?

all because of money

Funny how our political leaders are now in hot water because of money. I am talking about the ZTE broadband deal in the Philippines which was supposed to rake in a pool of money for those political leaders involved in this scam and which now is bringing nightmares and shame to them and their family.

Imagine one political leader getting so angry because he said he was only protecting his $4-$5 million commissions! Commissions in millions of dollars for a single deal? Won't you fry in hell because of this? Picture the billions of people who are hungry and who could not get decent meals a day and these people want to only enrich themselves and swim in a pool of money! It's a shame.

so damn ignorant, it's so sad

How come people are so damn ignorant regarding the value of advertising? Not in your part of the world but in this blessed town where I'm at, advertising for most of these people who need it is just like something that had to be forced on them because they don't need it. Huh? That is why our economy is moving so slow. That is why we're not improving nor getting anywhere. If our business people do not understand that advertising is a part and segment of marketing, then it's the end of the entertainment industry. It's a good thing that there are those who know and are now enjoying the fruits of having their businesses engraved in their consumers' consciousness and subconscious via advertising.

money as motivating factor

No doubts about it, money is the strongest motivating factor in the world. I mean, of course, passion is as important, but one can be passionate about anything if the moolah is good, right? So why are a lot of people stuck in jobs that don't bring in good moolah? Like teachers for instance. Why they stay on inspite of the little pay is something that is hard to fathom. Is it the love or the passion to teach? Or is it because times are hard and getting a job that pays well is impossible.
Whatever it is just amazes me.

funny

I find it funny that just when I am supposed to almost reach payout, my clixsense account seems to have frozen and has remained at $19.24 since it has not sent me anymore sites to click. Why? I really cannot understand why.

Hey, you!

If you have nothing much to do, if you're bored and you just don't know what to do with your time, like you are just surfing around for no reason, try going over to the sites linked to this site, there is a list of those at the right side bar. They are good sites and there are some in fact which will really make your day.

Happy surfing!

Google earnings slow

How does one accelerate one's Google earnings? We've heard of a lot of people offering this and that formula of augmenting one's income with Google. Of course we know traffic is one way of achieving this but this is easier said than done. The problem of bringing in people to your site has remained a problem to website owners. Too many sites means little chance of getting traffic.

money is scarce everywhere

All the signs are there---money is scant even among those who are supposedly having lots of it. I found this out when I tried to sell my two photocopying machines at very low cost it's just like giving them away. Sad to say that not one has the money to buy the machines. Hmmmmm.......I wonder where to find that place where money grows on trees. Any suggestions?

prices are all up!

I just came from the market early tonight and was shocked to know that prices of commodities have gone up overnight!  First, it was the price of oil.  Now the prices of basic commodities have also shot up.  OMG!  Without warning, these vendors just increase the prices to the consternation of consumers especially wage earners since they could not dictate the movement of their salaries. I do not know if this is also happening in other parts of the world or only in the Philippines.

rant!

What's wrong with http://www.clixsense.com/?2144411   For weeks now I could not log on to the site like I used to.  This is really strange since I could easily get into other sites but clixsense justy doesn't load up.  I am close to payout so I am having bad thoughts about this.  Is this perhaps a tactic to avoid payment?  I don't want to think of it this way because I have heard some good things about the site and I thought for a while that I am going to stay long here.  I was able to get several referrals too with only one getting an upgrade but I really am not feeling good about this.  I hope clixsense admin will come across this and come back to drop a comment to clarify things.

why and when do we advertise?

When we have a product or service that we want people to know exists, then use media through advertising.  Advertising is the lifeblood of business.  Business continues to exist and grow because of media, because of advertising.  The more people see and hear about your product or service the chances of the product/service being bought increase.

Visibility is very important in business.  People have to know you are there and they have to continually be reminded that you are there ready to be of service.  It is not enough to tell them once because people are by nature forgetful.  Your ad will remind people of your existence, thus, it increases sales.
